Dial-in on Linux
 

These pages describes how I configured a Linux machine as a terminal server with PPP support. In that way you can use Dial-Up networking in Windows 95/98 and RAS in NT to dial into a LAN.
It describes what I did for a company, but I also used a similar at home, just not so many dial-in phonelines. :)

The whole setup is based on an Intel machine running Linux RedHat v5.2. For ISDN dial-in I used TeleS 16.3 (non PnP) ISA card(s) and for analog I used USRobotics modems.

This installation was done in the late 90's, so stuff might be a bit obsolete now....
