XServer considerations:
During the installation the X went just well. And at the end, the
"Graphical Interface (X) Configuration" starts,
and this detects a "S3 Savage/IX" graphic card with 8Mb of memory.
I hit "Next" and a "DDC Probeb Monitor - Toshiba TOS5082" is detected, so I just go on.
In the next windows I coose "True Color (24 bit)" and "1024x768" screen resolution. Because I use the console a lot, I set the login type to "Text".
That's about it. After the installation, the X works "out of the box".
