How to make an
Emergency Repair Disk.

Tips: The rdisk utility from NT4 have gone avay......

Solution: Before you begin to make an Emergency Repair Disk, make sure that you have a high-density floppy disk available. Since floppy disks can fail unexpectedly, you should probably make more than one Emergency Repair Disk. The process is as follows:

  1. Click Start. From the menu that appears, choose Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools, and finally Backup.
  2. On the welcome screen, click the Emergency Repair Disk button.

Emergency Repair Disks contain security-sensitive information, so be sure to keep them in a safe location.
