Disconnect the CD-ROM.
Remember to unplug the power cable before opening the chassis! If you do not have an
antistatic bracelet it's recommended to keep one hand on the metal part of the chassis at
all time when you work inside the computer.
 |
To disconnect the CD-ROM you unscrew the two screws by the handle at the
top of the chassis. Then pull the chassis towards you to take it off. |
| Locate the rear end of the CD-ROM player and disconnect the power and data
cable. |
 |
If you have any ISA or PCI cards in the computer I recommend removing these too
so you avoid any possible hardware or driver conflicts during the installation.
The installation.
